American Idol Season 13 Judges Revealed: Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban & Harry Connick Jr.

The “American Idol” judges’ panel is set for Season 13.

Jennifer Lopez will return alongside the previously confirmed Keith Urban, and judges’ table newcomer Harry Connick Jr. (Harry previously served as a guest judge/mentor).

“I have always been a huge fan of ‘American Idol’ and really enjoyed my time as a mentor on the show,” Harry said in a statement on Monday. “And I am honored that they’ve asked me to be a judge this season. As an entertainer, I am truly excited to bring my perspective to ‘American Idol,’ and to help emerging performers find their way.”

Jennifer hit Twitter to confirm her news, Tweeting, ““#IDOL2014TheRemix.”

And it turns out that Randy Jackson’s exit from the show at the end of Season 12 was premature. He’ll be back on the show, but this time, in the role of mentor. The position was previously held by Jimmy Iovine.

“Surprise, surprise! I am so happy to be back as part of this amazing show that started it all,” Randy said in a statement. “Season 1-3 is the place to be. The original talent show is back with a vengeance and ready to discover the best talent in America.”
