“American Idol” has locked in its judges for Season 10 — and the show is ready to officially reveal the names. Almost.
FOX announced on Thursday that show host Ryan Seacrest would reveal the judges’ panel on Wednesday September 22 in a press conference in Los Angeles.
Over the summer, the judges’ table was uprooted when Ellen DeGeneres announced her departure. Earlier this month, Kara DioGuardi confirmed she had left the show too. And, of course, Simon Cowell left the show at the conclusion of last season.
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is expected to be revealed as a judge, alongside Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, who has been a part of “Idol” since the show’s inaugural season.
According to Deadline, J.Lo’s deal – which reportedly first broke down over the star’s initial alleged demands – is worth $12 million.
“American Idol” returns to FOX for its tenth season in 2011.
