Amy Adams Gushes Over Her 9-Month-Old Daughter: ‘She’s Very Advanced’

Diamond’s are a girl’s best friend… just ask Amy Adams’ daughter Aviana who — at only 9 months old — has already taken an interest in her mother’s sparkly bauble!

“She’s talking,” Amy told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush of her young daughter on the red carpet for the 2011 Academy Awards in Hollywood on Sunday. “Her favorite word is ‘balloon’ and she looks at my ring and says, ‘Oooh,’ so that’s funny.”

“She can say balloon at 9 months old?” Billy asked.

“Well, it’s something close, but she recognizes it as balloon,” Amy said. “She’s very advanced.”

It’s a big night for the 36-year-old actress, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in “The Fighter,” but Amy said she’s not necessarily concerned with winning at the moment.

“I’m just excited to be here,” she told Billy. “I haven’t even thought about the winning, the competition. I’ve just really, really mostly thought about the red carpet up to this point.”

While Aviana may have her talented mom wrapped around her tiny finger, Amy said she plans to stick around and have a cocktail after the big show.

“I’ll go out,” Amy told Billy. “She’ll be asleep by then, so I don’t feel too bad. But I can’t stay out too late — she gets up at about 6 o’clock in the morning… I’ll get up with her. She’s so hard to resist. Really!”
