Amy Poehler Dishes On Golden Globes Hosting Trilogy

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards in 2014 and the pair will return to host again in 2015, thus creating a comedy hosting trilogy.

AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman caught up with Amy at the “Parks and Recreation” 100th Episode Celebration on Wednesday, where she talked about following up last year’s stellar Globes hosting duties yet again.

“We’re just doing it ‘Lord of the Rings’ style,” she said of hosting three times. “The comedy rule of three. So, we’ll do [it] three [times].”

The Globes are just a few months away, but Amy said she’s not getting pre-show jitters – or is she?

“Have not even thought that far, I think it’s like 80 something days away,” she said.

“You haven’t thought that far ahead, but you’re counting the days?” Laura pointed out.

“That’s right,” Amy said with a laugh.

As for her NBC series, “Parks and Rec,” Amy explained that she is overjoyed to reach their 100th episode milestone.

“We’ve been lucky enough to work on a show that we really love and to have it last this long and to get to do so many stories, is really, really satisfying and great,” she said.

The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 8 PM ET and 5 PM PT on NBC.
