Amy Schumer Weighs In On Jennifer Lawrence’s Lonely Weekends & The Pair’s Screenplay

Jennifer Lawrence recently
told Vogue she’s “lonely every Saturday night” (and the rest of the
world went, “Then there’s no hope for me, ever.”).

Finding it hard to believe
that the “Hunger Games” bombshell has
difficulty having a date, Access Hollywood checked in with JLaw’s friend, Amy
Schumer, for a reality check.

“I
mean, if she says it, it’s true. She’s a pretty honest girl,” Amy told
Access at VH1’s Big In 2015 event in West Hollywood on Sunday, when asked if
Jennifer is truly wanting for romance.

“I think she’s one of
the most beautiful human beings of our time, so it’s hard to imagine, but I
know it is hard to date in this business,” the “Trainwreck” star
added.

Amy and Jennifer are
working on a screenplay together (proof that prayers DO get answered), and the
“Inside Amy” actress said the power duo is making progress.

“It’s going
good,” Amy said of the screenplay, which features Amy and Jen as sisters.
“We just finished another draft.

“We’re gonna do a
table read in the next couple weeks again,” she continued. “We’re
excited about it.”
