Anchorman 2: Nicole Kidman To Make Cameo (Report)

The star roster of “Anchorman: The Legend Continues” continues to grow.

The latest celebrity added to the mix? Nicole Kidman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nicole recently shot a hilarious (uncredited) cameo in Atlanta for the “Anchorman” sequel.

The 45–year-old Aussie beauty is no stranger to working with Will Ferrell – the pair co-starred in 2005’s “Bewitched.”

In addition to Nicole, THR reports “Anchorman” stars Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson (who played rival newsmen in the 2004 original) will also make appearances in the upcoming sequel.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Meryl Streep was rumored to be making a cameo in the film, but Steve Carell (who will reprise his role as lovably dense weatherman Brick Tamland in the sequel) said Meryl wasn’t able to fit the movie into her schedule.

“When I did ‘Hope Springs,’ [Meryl] mentioned she was a fan and she said, ‘Oh, I’d love to be in it,’” Steve told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover during an appearance on Access Hollywood Live in March. “But that’s not gonna [happen] — that’s not a thing.”

“Anchorman: The Legend Continues” is slated to hit theaters on December 20.
