Andrew Garfield had no problem delivering a convincing romantic performance with real-life and onscreen love Emma Stone.
Access Hollywood’s Scott “Movie” Mantz caught up with the actor at the “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” New York City premiere where he talked about co-starring with Emma in Spidey’s new big screen adventure.
“She’s a good actress,” he said of Emma. “It’s hard not to have chemistry with such a great actress!”

Andrew said he’s always amazed when working alongside her.
“I think anyone who ever works with her goes, ‘Holy gosh darn! What just happened?’” he continued.
The latest installment of the superhero franchise takes an even more romantic turn for Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, something which Andrew credits Emma for delivering.

“It’s a testament to Emma… and what she brings to this film is… a woman who is following her own path and living her destiny just as much as Peter Parker/Spider-Man is living his,” he said of the movie’s romantic story. “[She’s] the most beautiful role model for women and young girls, and no better actress could be playing that part.”
“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” swings into theaters on May 2.
