Andy Samberg To Host 67th Primetime Emmy Awards

Andy Samberg has been named the host of the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards!

“Buckle your seat belts, Emmy viewers!” the “Saturday Night Live” alum said in a press release on Thursday. “Like, in general you should buckle your seat belts in your car. In fact, even if you’re not an Emmy viewer, you should buckle your seat belt. It can be dangerous on the road. Also, if you’re not an Emmy viewer, you should strongly consider becoming one this year, because I’m hosting, and it’s gonna be a wild ride. So buckle your seat belts.”

The “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star won an Emmy of his own in 2007 for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for “D*** In A Box,” which was featured on his comedy troupe The Lonely Island’s first album and made famous when it was featured in a “SNL” sketch with Justin Timberlake.
