Angelina Jolie Sustains Injury While Filming ‘Salt,’ Returns To Set After Hospital Visit

Angelina Jolie suffered a minor injury while shooting her upcoming thriller, “Salt,” on Long Island earlier today, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie ‘Salt,’ Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury,” Sony, the studio behind the actress’ new movie said in a statement to Access.

“As a precautionary measure,” the actress was taken to a “hospital and examined,” Sony confirmed.

She is now back on set and continuing to shoot the film, a rep told Access.

While Angelina was being examined, second unit work on the movie was done.

Angelina, who was in Cannes last week alongside partner Brad Pitt, has been shooting her upcoming film in New York throughout the week.
