Angus T. Jones Slams Two And A Half Men: ‘Please Stop Watching’; Reveals Past Drug Use

“Two and A Half Men” star Angus T. Jones has slammed his CBS sitcom in a new religious-themed posting on YouTube.

“Jake from ‘Two and a Half Men’ means nothing. He’s a non-existent character,” the actor, 19, said in a more than 14-minute clip, posted by The Forerunner Chronicles, an apparently religious-themed video channel, on YouTube on Monday.

Jones went on to urge fans to stop watching his show.

“If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.’ I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men.’ I don’t want to be on it,” he can be seen saying in the clip. “Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth, please.”

The actor went on to seemingly suggest that entertainment television can be the devil’s work.

“People say it’s just entertainment. The fact that it’s entertainment — do some research on the effects of television and your brain and I promise you, you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to the television and especially with what you watch on the television. It’s bad news,” he continued. “So I don’t know if it means any more coming from me, but you might not have heard it otherwise, so just watch out. Watch out. A lot of people don’t like to think about how deceptive the enemy is. He’s been doing this for a lot longer than any of us have been around, so, we can’t play around. There’s no playing around when it comes to eternity.”

In another video, posted on Sunday, the actor also revealed his past drug use, including marijuana and another substance.

“The summer of my senior year [of high school], I started doing acid,” he said.

Angus’ comments on his CBS show may come as a surprise to many fans. Just last month, the actor told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman that he had fun shooting scenes with Miley Cyrus, who played his romantic interest on the sitcom, because it finally gave his character Jake some non-Skype related screen time this season.

“What I was really glad about was the fact that I had more than one scene and I was actually there in person for the scene rather than over [a] Skype call,” he laughed, at the time, referring to how Jake, who had joined the military, was only appearing in the first few episodes of the season via the Internet video call service.

Warner Bros., would not comment when contacted by Access on Monday.
