Annie Lennox’s ‘Old School’ Experience

LONDON (May 8, 2007) — Dozens of teenage-themed movies and frat comedies surround the concept of house-party crashers. Now, somber singing sensation Annie Lennox has apparently joined the club in real life.

According to the UK’s Lennox’s 16 year old daughter Lola decided to hold a party recently. After reportedly sending an email to her school chums, just like the movies, the message got passed on to hundreds of others who flooded the home of Lennox’s ex, film producer Uri Fruchtmann.

Unbeknownst to Lennox, the $4 million dollar family home, where the Oscar winning vocalist does not live, was reportedly “trashed” after hundreds of youths barged into the abode and proceeded to tear the place apart.

“It all started off pleasantly enough,” a family friend told the Mail. “People just kept coming and coming . . . At first it was just lamps being knocked over and drinks being spilled but as things got worse people were urinating on the carpet in the corner of the living room, then there was graffiti being scrawled on and even etched into the walls.”

Whether or not the family home looked post-party, more like the remnants of Wyatt Donnelly’s abode in “Weird Science” or Mitch Martin’s in “Old School,” could not be verified at press time.

Neighbors are said to have called police who brought the situation under control.

Lola was reportedly grounded by her parents, following the incident.
