‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ Announced By Marvel Studios

He might be small, but Ant-Man has some big news!

Marvel Studios announced some major changes in Phase 3 of their Cinematic Universe on Thursday – including “Ant-Man and the Wasp.”

The micro-sized superhero fun will continue with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) getting their own movie on July 6, 2018.

The “Ant-Man” sequel will shakeup Marvel’s slate a bit with “Black Panther” moving up to February 16, 2018 and “Captain Marvel” landing on March 8, 2019.

And if that wasn’t enough superhero news for one day, Marvel also announced that 2020 will be a major huge year with three films debuting.

The three untitled Marvel Studios films (is this the start of the studio’s Phase 4?) will premiere on May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020.

Some possible film ideas that AccessHollywood.com would love to see in Phase 4: a Black Widow stand-alone film, a solo Hulk movie with Mark Ruffalo and a third “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

A few more longshot ideas want: a completely Marvel-produced Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland (sorry Sony), a Namor The Sub-Mariner (think Marvel’s version of Aquaman) movie and a Nick Fury film.
