Ariana Grande and her brother Frankie Grande are dealing with the loss of their grandfather.
The star and her brother, who is currently competing on “Big Brother,” lost their grandfather to cancer on Tuesday.
“thank you for your continuous love & light over the past few weeks… we did lose my favorite person to ever exist yesterday, my grandpa,” Ariana Tweeted on Wednesday.

“If only y’all knew how amazing he was.. my [heart] hurts so much. It’s beyond broken, but I got to hold his hand and watch him find his peace,” she continued.
Frankie found out about his grandfather’s death while in the “Big Brother” house in the form of a letter, which Ariana watched him read on the live feed.
“Watching @frankiejgrande talk abt grandps after reading our letter on the live feed. sobbing / laughing hysterically. love u frankie so much,” she wrote.

The 21-year-old star also shared numerous photos of her late grandfather on Instagram including a shot of herself and him in bed before he passed.
