‘Arrow’: Stephen Amell On The Return Of Katrina Law’s Nyssa Al Ghul

Katrina Law is back on “Arrow” as Nyssa al Ghul.

At the end of last Wednesday night’s episode, she turned up in the lair/The Foundry, pointing a bow at Oliver Queen, and demanding to know the whereabouts of Sara Lance.

Sara was murdered in the “Arrow” Season 3 premiere and when Nyssa learns what happened, she will be on the hunt for the killer.

“There’s an opportunity for them to work in concert in Episode 4, but Oliver’s methods and Nyssa’s methods don’t match up,” Stephen Amell said of what’s to come, while speaking with reporters on the set in Vancouver last week. “She’s the, ‘Shoot them all, figure it out afterwards,’ and Oliver’s like, ‘I used to be that way! I’m not anymore.’ So that creates the conflict for them.”

“Arrow” star Stephen said he has enjoyed having the “Spartacus” alum Katrina, back on set.

“Katrina has been excellent this year,” he said. “We’ve seen her a few times now and it’s always a treat. I think that she has fleshed out the Nyssa character and actually given — I think it’s been probably helpful for Matt [Nable], who’s playing her father and having such a strong, fleshed out character as his daughter has probably given him a really nice signpost for how to play Ra’s.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, it’s “Riddick” alum Matt Nable, who is coming to “Arrow” as big bad villain Ra’s al Ghul.

He has described as, “a ruthless strategist, a master of martial arts, and a shaper of history. He carries the wisdom of the ages, and protects some of its greatest secrets,” and he will make his debut in next week’s episode, titled, “The Magician.”

“Arrow” continues Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
