‘Arrow’s’ Stephen Amell To Appear In ‘The Flash’ Premiere

“Arrow” star Stephen Amell has confirmed he will appear in the premiere episode of “The Flash,” coming to The CW this fall.

“Hey… You know that new show called The Flash? I’m in the pilot,” Stephen wrote on Facebook in the early hours of Friday morning.

“The Flash,” a spinoff of “Arrow,” stars “Glee” alum Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, who finds himself with super-abilities after his lab was struck by an unnatural bolt of lightning.

In the long trailer for the new show, Stephen made a cameo, as The Arrow.

“I don’t think that bolt of lightning struck you,” Stephen’s Oliver/The Arrow tells Barry on the rooftop in the clip. “I think it chose you because you can inspire people, watching over your city like a guardian angel, making a difference, saving people… in a flash.”

“The Flash” will be paired with “Supernatural,” airing at 8 PM on Tuesday nights this fall.
