Ashley Greene: ‘New Moon’ ‘Is More Guy-Friendly’

Is the romantic supernatural drama of “The Twilight Saga” just for girls? Not according to series star Ashley Greene.

The second film in the series, “New Moon,” “is a little more guy-friendly,” she told People. “It’s a lot more action packed.”

Appearing at TAO Las Vegas with co-star Kellan Lutz to host the Yelloween party, the star said that the addition of the wolf pack — including Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black — created an element of comedy.

“The wolves are funny,” she said. “They’re a threat and a danger to our family but they’re also protecting this person that we all love — so we kind of have to get along with them.”

While the movie may be heavier on the action, she said fans of the series’ vampire-wolf love triangle wouldn’t be disappointed.

“Edward kind of breaks Bella’s heart, so you definitely see Jacob kind of swoop in to rescue her,” Ashley said. “You get to see their chemistry and dynamic. It keeps you on the edge of your seat a little bit more than the first one… this one is kind of more about heartbreak and healing.”

And though she was proud of the new movie, Ashley — dressed as a peacock — said Halloween was a welcome way to dress as something different for once.

“Don’t get me wrong, I love the costume – but every day for two hours, it wears on you a little bit,” she said.

“New Moon” is due in theaters on November 20.
