Bachelor Sean Lowe Joins Dancing With The Stars

Newly engaged “Bachelor” star Sean Lowe is going to strut his stuff in the ballroom on “Dancing with the Stars.”

The 29-year-old is joining the Season 16 cast, which includes country singer Kellie Pickler, Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill and boxer Victor Ortiz.

The reality star is paired with Peta Murgatroyd, who previously won the show with Donald Driver.

Sean’s addition to the cast was announced on Tuesday’s “Good Morning America.”

On Monday’s “The Bachelor” finale, Sean proposed to Catherine Giudici after it came down to just two women. Lindsay Yenter had also been in the running for his heart.

While in Thailand, Sean popped the big question to Catherine.

“I think the world of you and I miss you every time we have to say goodbye. I don’t want to say goodbye anymore,” he told her. “Catherine, I want to spend the rest of my life telling you, ‘I love you,’ and making you feel like the most special, beautiful woman in the world.”

As he got down on one knee and presented her with a ring, he added, “Catherine, will you marry me?”

“Is this for real?” she asked. “I’m so happy… I am so grateful to have met somebody like you. I’ve never been so comfortable about myself and with somebody.”

After accepting Sean’s proposal, the newly engaged pair rode off an elephant together through the jungle.
