‘Bachelorette’s’ Jillian & Ed Deny Claims About His Infidelity

“Bachelorette’s” Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski deny claims that the Canadian cutie’s final choice cheated on her after he proposed.

According to Us Weekly, Ed slept with former girlfriend Lindsey Johnson only eight days after he asked Jillian to marry him.

And the scandalous claims don’t stop there! Another woman, Bethany Steffen, told the mag that Ed sent her a text message asking her to “bring beer and condoms” to his house just one day after his alleged tryst with Lindsey.

In addition, when Ed exited the show early on due to concerns about his job (prior to returning and becoming Jillian’s final choice), both Lindsey and Bethany claim they slept with Ed.

But the happy reality couple told ABC’s “Good Morning America” the ladies’ claims are not true.

“It’s not true at all. I think that Jillian and I have been the target of being one of the very few successful couples on the show. I think that we’re clearly being targeted because we are happy,” Ed said during an interview Wednesday. “Jillian and I have been completely honest and upfront about all of my recent relationships. There’s just no truth to it… The tabloids are inaccurate.”

Jillian stood right by her new man – via satellite from Chicgao. Ed was in Henderson, Nevada.

“Ed has been very very clear with me from the very beginning. He’s been totally open and honest with me,” Jillian said. “This is nonsense. I feel like I am in high school. All of this stuff is totally inaccurate. It’s unfortunate.”

Jillian squashed the notion that Ed might be deceiving her, like the other women have claimed.

“I think that these women are very hurt and they did love Ed, I can understand where they’re coming from. It must be very painful, but that was in the past and those were past relationships,” she explained. “Ed is not deceiving me. Ed is not pulling the wool over my eyes.”

And when asked if their engagement was still on, they both said – almost in unison – “Absolutely!”

“We are completely in love,” Ed said. “And I can’t wait for Jill to get out here today.”
