Cinemax’s “Banshee: The Complete First Season” finally hits stores next week, but AccessHollywood.com has an exclusive sneak peek at one of the DVD and Blu-Ray bonus features, today!
In the clip, fans can check out what went into making the New York City bus crash that occurred in the pilot after Lucas Hood (Antony Star) left jail and was immediately part of a high speed chase involving Oleg, one of Rabbit’s henchmen.

The Season 1 release is available July 30 on Blu-Ray with Digital Bonus Features including an “Inside the Title Sequence” piece, which helps viewers figure out the clues in each episode’s opening; “Reveal the Code” to help those not already in the know learn what the lock combination numbers mean, and the “Banshee: Origins” comic book.
The Blu-Ray also includes all the DVD features, including the “NYC Bus Crash,” a look into the “Town of Secrets,” “Banshee Origins,” which looks at backstories of many of the characters, “Zooming In” – a look at Episodes 7 and 8, and six audio commentaries on various episodes.
The release also contains a trailer tease for Season 2.
