Beyonce & Jay Z Release First Video In ‘Bang Bang’ Trilogy

Beyonce and Jay Z might have just squashed split rumors for good with the release of the first video from “Bang Bang,” a three-part short movie trilogy directed by Dikayl Rimmasch.

The rapper is seen kissing Bey’s neck in the no dialogue video set to an instrumental opening of Nancy Sinatra’s 1966 cover of “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down).” The video was first shown during the couple’s “On The Run” tour and debuted online on Monday.

Director Dikayl spoke to the Nowness website about working with the music powerhouse couple, who are seen as gun-toting outlaws in the short.

“Beyonce and Jay Z are two very intelligent, insightful and thoughtful people, in an almost low-key way. Which is how they got to where they are. They are very aware of people’s attitudes and what energy they are bringing. Once you fully realize that, then the pressure comes off and you just have to do what you’re good at,” he told the site.

“On the Run Tour: Beyonce and Jay Z” premieres September 20 on HBO.
