Beyonce’s Stylist Shocked By Star’s Haircut; Says Singer’s Hair Was 100 Percent Real

Beyonce shocked her fans on Wednesday night by posting photos of her new, cropped pixie cut to her Instagram account, but no one was more surprised by the dramatic ‘do than the singer’s longtime stylist, Kim Kimble!

In fact, the new look was so spur-of-the-moment, Kim says she’ll have to scrap hair designs she had already created for a music video Beyonce is filming on Saturday.

“I had a whole plan laid out… I wanted to do a retro ‘50s type of hair. I feel like there’s going to be a meeting soon!” she told People, with a laugh. “It won’t be the long, wavy, typical hair, but I’m really excited to do something different. No matter what, she knows I’ll give her what she wants!”

Also shocking? Kim, who stars on WE TV’s “L.A. Hair,” said reports claiming Beyonce simply removed extensions or a weave are completely false!

“I got a little teary eyed!” she said, of her reaction to Bey’s daring new ‘do. “I’ve been working for her so long, she has this beautiful long hair and it’s hard to grow hair out.

“I feel like it’s my hair, I work so much with her. I feel a little emotional but excited for her too,” she continued. “Maybe I’ll cut my hair off now. Short hair, don’t care!”

And the following tidbit from Kim leads us to believe (or at least hope!) that the music video in question will be for Bey’s unreleased song, “Grown Woman.”

“She had great, thick long hair, which she cut off because she’s ready to make a statement,” Kim told the mag. “It’s a great [one] to make: I’m beautiful, sexy, bold and I can do it all.”

Adding, “She’s the perfect model for that: A working woman, mom, superstar, business woman. She’s powerful in herself.”
