‘Biggest Loser’ Rachel Frederickson Revisits Weight Controversy: I Was ‘Too Enthusiastic’

Viewers and trainers alike were stunned when “Biggest Loser” winner Rachel Frederickson revealed her shocking weight loss on the show’s finale.

Now, the 24-year-old is speaking out again on the controversy surrounding her dramatically thinner figure and admitting she may have gone a bit too far.

“Maybe I was a little too enthusiastic in my training to get to the finale,” Rachel told People.

The 5’4” competitor lost 155 lbs., going from 260 lbs. to 105 lbs. during her time on the NBC show.

When asked “point blank” by the mag if she has an eating disorder, Rachel replied, “I am very, very healthy.”

“Biggest Loser” trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper were visibly shocked (and looked slightly horrified) during Rachel’s big finale reveal, and even Rachel’s trainer, Dolvett Quince admitted he was “shocked” by her new look.

“The first thing that went through my mind was, ‘That’s just too much,’” he told the mag.
