Billy Ray Cyrus Calls His Recent Comments ‘Explosive’; Working On ‘Mending’ The Family

After saying he was “scared” for daughter Miley Cyrus and that “Hannah Montana” had “destroyed” his family, Billy Ray Cyrus is working to restore his family.

“It is very important to me to work on mending my family right now,” Billy Ray told People, referring to his recent comments in GQ’s March issue as “explosive, and unintentionally so.”

“My family is the most important thing I have, and we are working together to make sure our future is stronger and healthier,” he continued. “It is all a learning process, and we thank everyone for their support and respect of our privacy as we sort through very important family issues.”

According to the mag, Billy Ray has recently been spotted with estranged wife Tish, from whom he filed for divorce in October.

In addition to claiming his daughter’s Disney show ruined the Cyrus family, Billy Ray drew comparisons between Miley and deceased fallen stars Michael Jackson, Kurt Cobain and Anna Nicole Smith in the GQ interview which came out last week.
