Bob Saget On Being ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Over John Stamos & His Former Co-Star Joining ‘Glee’

For five years in the ‘90s, Bob Saget and John Stamos shacked up under the same roof on “Full House.”

Since the show ended, both stars have kept plenty busy with project after project in Hollywood. Most recently, both actors have found themselves jumping to two of the hottest shows on TV.

While Bob has settled in to a recurring guest spot on HBO’s “Entourage,” John will soon be joining the cast of FOX’s “Glee.”

So what does Bob think about his longtime friend tuning up his pipes to join the “Glee” club?

“I think he should be singing and dancing!” Bob told AccessHollywood.com at the “Entourage” Season 7 premiere on Wednesday night in Hollywood.

“That’s what he does when he goes out with me – and I throw dollars at him,” the comedian joked.

Of course, singing and dancing is nothing new for John, whose Broadway resume includes…. well, we’ll just let Bob run down his friend’s theater credits.

“I’ve seen him in ‘Cabaret’ and ‘Nine’ and ‘How to Succeed [In Business Without Really Trying].’ I know his resume!” Bob revealed, pausing in amazement of his ability to recite John’s resume off the cuff. (John also appeared most recently on Broadway in the 2009 revival of “Bye Bye Birdie.”)

While the easy-on-the-eyes John has never had a problem impressing the ladies, apparently, Bob is quite smitten with his former co-star as well.

“He’s incredible… I’m very Fruity Pebbles for John Stamos…. what am I gonna do?!? We love each other,” he smiled. “I think ‘Glee’ is lucky to have him and I think he’s lucky to be ‘Glee-ful.’

“I don’t know,” Bob added. “I sound like a commercial for cereal.”
