Bobby Brown Makes Emotional First Appearance Since Bobbi Kristina’s Hospitalization

Bobby Brown made his first public appearance this weekend since daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was hospitalized in January.

The singer performed at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday night, and addressed his family’s situation.

“I must tell you all, this feels really, really, really, really good. Thank you all for coming out tonight for supporting me and my family,” he told the crowd, becoming emotional. “Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times.

“I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now, but I’m giving it to God, and letting him deal with it,” he continued.

The 46-year-old said the show must go on, despite his heartache.

“There’s only one thing I ask of y’all tonight and that’s to enjoy yourselves,” he told the cheering crowd.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31. She was transported to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga., and later transferred to Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital.

She was moved to an undisclosed rehabilitation center in Atlanta in late March.
