Bobby Brown Says Bobbi Kristina Being Looked After By Family Following Visit To Doctors

Bobby Brown says his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is being looked after by family following the death of her mother, superstar Whitney Houston.

“[Sunday] my daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” Bobby said in a statement released on to Access Hollywood. “She has been released and is presently with my family, including her siblings.

“Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however, we will get through this tragedy as a family,” Bobby’s statement continued. “Again, I ask for privacy during this time.”

Bobbi Kristina, who turns 19 next month, was treated for stress and anxiety on Sunday, a source close to the family previously told the Associated Press.

The teen was taken out of the Beverly Hilton Hotel on a stretcher on Sunday and transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, TMZ reported.

A source told Access on Sunday that Bobbi Kristina was in pretty bad shape on Sunday, less than 24 hours after her mother’s tragic death at the hotel on Saturday afternoon.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Houston died at the age of 48 on Saturday afternoon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, just before 4 PM.

She was found unresponsive and underwater in a bathtub. First responders from the Fire Department worked on Houston, but were unable to revive her.
