Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora A Little Nervous Over 13-Year-Old Daughter’s Move Into Acting

Richie Sambora’s teenage daughter Ava recently modeled for her Bon Jovi guitar-playing dad’s clothing line, White Trash Beautiful, but she won’t be stopping at the runway.

“I let her do that and now, actually, she’s becoming an actress and she just got a movie,” Richie told Kit Hoover on Wednesday’s Access Hollywood Live, referring to his daughter’s upcoming part in Judd Apatow’s “This Is Forty,” a spin-off of “Knocked Up.”

“She’s very passionate about it,” Richie added of Ava, his daughter with ex-wife Heather Locklear, and her acting career plans.

While the 13-year-old is ready to kick-start her career, her father, naturally, has some reservations.

“There’s some trepidation as far as me being a little scared about it, but I’m happy for her and she’s really happy and she’s going right into it, man,” he said.

There is one place Richie is ready to put his foot down on, at least when it comes to Ava’s modeling career.

“Lingerie! I think it would be a little bit too much,” he said.

Richie puts limits on his daughter, but he is still cool in his daughter’s book.

“I’m still pretty cool at the moment, but that corner is coming real soon,” he laughed.

In related Richie news, the rocker will head to the Marine Corps Base at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, Calif., this Friday where he’ll be giving 12 autographed – and foldable – guitars to some lucky marines.

“Now the guys [will] have something to do when they’re not fighting,” he said of the gift.
