LOS ANGELES (June 7, 2007) Bon Jovi guitarist has entered a treatment center, People reports.
Richie Sambora has entered an undisclosed treatment facility in Los Angeles,” the guitar singers representative said in a statement to People. “He asks that you respect he and his family’s privacy at this time.”
Last month it was reported Sambora had split with his girlfriend, actress Denise Richards.
The couple reportedly ended their romantic relationship three months ago. Despite the split, Richards attended the funeral of Samboras father last month.
Richards and Samboras relationship attracted a host of media attention when they started dating last spring.
Sambora is the now ex-husband of what was presumed to be a close friend of Denises, Heather Locklear. After pictures emerged showing Denise was dating Richie, relations between she and Heather reportedly cooled.
