When Brad Goreski parted ways with Rachel Zoe last fall, many suspected the outspoken fashion assistant would eventually branch out with his own reality show, and it turns out those suspicions were right.
Bravo announced on Wednesday it’s working on the premiere season of the tentatively titled, “It’s A Brad, Brad World,” and Brad himself opened up about his new show at the cable network’s Upfront presentation in Los Angeles.
“I’m just starting out fresh,” Brad told Access Hollywood of how fans will find Rachel’s former right hand man as the series, which does not yet have a premiere date, begins.
“I don’t have an assistant; the jobs are coming in; I’m doing really, really well,” Brad added of his new career – no longer as an assistant, but as a fully-fledged stylist.
Brad said the reality show would give people a real look into how a person can make the career shift from fashion assistant to the boss.
“I’m setting up my life and my business and I think a lot of people ask me questions about how things are going and how you get into the business and what it’s like for a starting out stylist and I’m gonna show people what it’s like,” he said.
The spectacled gent said he would also be allowing fans a look into his personal life as well.
“My personal life is gonna be a big part of it,” he said. “My boyfriend’s gonna be on the show, my mom’s gonna be on the show, my sister… So, I think people are really gonna get to see who I am as a person and what makes me, me.”
Brad said he didn’t know if Rachel, or her newborn son, Skyler, would appear on his reality program, but he says that he and the super stylist are still very close.
“I love Rachel. I think she’s so talented,” he said. “I’m so lucky to have worked with her. She’s taught me everything I know and I’m just really excited for the next chapter of my life and to show everybody what my world is like.”
