Brad Pitt: ‘No Date At All’ For Wedding To Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have said their six kids would love to see them walk down the aisle, but it appears they’ll continue to have to wait.

The 48-year-old actor opened up about his engagement to Angelina, telling reporters at a press conference for his new gangster movie, “Killing Them Softly,” at the Cannes Film Festival that their decision to get married was “something that made sense.”

And despite rumors of an upcoming ceremony, Brad stressed that it’s still up in the air.

“We have no date at all right now – there is no date,” he said, explaining that they hope one hurdle can be overcome before they wed.

“We’re still hoping for marriage equality in the States before we [get married],” Brad, who has been with Angelina since 2005, said.

He was also asked if he was worried that his six kids (Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, Knox, 3, Vivienne, 3) might one day see his upcoming violent movie.

“Not at all,” Pitt said in response to the criticism. “Violence is an accepted part of the gangster world. I’d have a harder time playing a racist than some guy who shoots another guy in the face.”

Adding, “Ever seen them butcher a cow for hamburger? It’s incredibly brutal and violent. We live in a very violent world.”
