Brad Pitt On The Twins: ‘Two More By Next Year’

Brad Pitt and George Clooney may be in Italy for the world premiere of their latest film, “Burn After Reading,” at the Venice Film Festival, but Brad’s mind is already back at Chateau Miraval with Angelina Jolie and his future babies.

“I’ll have two more by next year,” Brad joked to reporters at a press conference on Wednesday, according to Reuters.

Both he and George were in humorous moods, clowning around with reporters who asked them about their personal lives rather than the film, the Coen brothers’ follow-up to the Oscar winning “No Country For Old Men.”

After a British journalist asked George if he had plans to settle down and have children, George reportedly responded, “I am so surprised to hear that question. This honestly is the first time I’ve ever been asked that question. I’m getting married and having children today.”

“And until then, I’ll be sharing mine with him,” Brad added.

On a more serious note, the pair talked kids — “The twins are fine,” George said – and, with the Democratic National Convention in full swing back in Denver, politics.

“I’m happy to be here [in Venice],” George said, according to People. “This is one of my favorite places in the world to be. I like to watch the conventions on TV. I think the stars of the convention should be the people who are being elected.”

A staunch activist, he has tempered hopes for the presidential election.

“I’m pessimistic, but I’m optimistic. I think it’s a very exciting time in American politics,” George said.

“I’m optimistic, too,” Brad said. “It’s a vital time. It’s a defining time. I’m excited about where things are going.”
