Brandi Glanville Spars With Eddie Cibrian & LeAnn Rimes Over Sons

A war of words (and Tweets and e-mails) has flared up again between Brandi Glanville, her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his new wife LeAnn Rimes about the reality star’s sons.

The feud began after “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star told Us Weekly that she does not feel comfortable having her sons Mason, 9 and Jake, 5, be around the singer.

“I, unfortunately, don’t find her to be stable and I don’t want her around my kids when Eddie’s not there — or at least the nanny, his parents, someone,” she told the mag of Rimes. “Mason, my eldest, ate some of Le’s candies and got extremely ill. And Le’s candies are laxatives. It was a big… deal for me, and I lost my mind.

“She has one in every purse. Mason found on on the floor and thought it was a Skittle! They don’t keep sugar in the house,” Glanville claimed. “He thought he finally found candy.”

Rimes’ rep told the mag the claim was “Just more inaccuracies and half-truths.”

Cibrian also released a statement to the mag along with releasing an e-mail he sent his ex-wife to Radar Online. (Read the entire e-mail, HERE!)

“It is absolutely ridiculous that my ex-wife continues to put the personal lives of myself, LeAnn, our sons and my family on public display for the sake of her notoriety. She is fully capable and has the means of contacting myself and LeAnn privately to discuss any matter concerning the children. The fact she chooses not to, should be pretty transparent. And while I do not wish to fuel her ever-igniting fire, there is a breaking point where enough is enough,” he said in his statement.

Adding, “My wife, LeAnn, continues to be a loving and positive influence on the lives of my sons. They are without a doubt lucky to have her. The love they have for their ‘bonus mom’ continues to grow each day as we navigate the changes to our family; a fact that Brandi cannot argue as she herself has stated as much… if my ex-wife truly cared about the welfare of our sons, she would stop the constant bashing on an important person in their lives and focus on productive co-parenting to make our blended family the strongest it can be. And she would do so privately.”

The Bravo star, who also told the mag she was upset about the singer posting a video of her son riding a bike without a helmet, said, “These are my children and I don’t want this unstable person around them when she’s alone.”

Rimes’ rep released a statement to Access Hollywood about the claims.

“None of Brandi’s allegations are true. People need to see it for what it is – PUBLICITY!” the statement read. “It’s time for Brandi to move on. LeAnn has!”

The reality star then hit up Twitter to vent about the war of words, explaining that she’s done talking about the situation in a public forum.

“I want it to go away so I can deal with it on my own.I know it seems hypocritical but can we not talk about “them” anymore at least 4today,” she wrote. “This is about my kids not them!!!!!!!!!!!!!… I love all of u supporters and people that understand this isnt about anything other then my boys. Thank u!”

Glanville and Cibrian divorced in August 2010 after eight years of marriage. Cibrian married Rimes in April 2011.
