“Breaking Bad” parted with one of its family on Sunday night.
(SPOILER ALERT: If you’re reading this story and have not watched the most recent episode of “Breaking Bad,” stop now.)
Dean Norris’ DEA Agent Hank Schrader, brother-in-law to former meth kingpin Walter White (Bryan Cranston) was brutally gun downed by Uncle Jack out in the desert in front of his relative.

Addressing his exit on AMC’s “Talking Bad” on Sunday night, Dean said his death scene was not only his last one to film, but it didn’t take very long.
“It was shorter than we expected because we ended up shooting that scene — the final scene, my final scene — the close ups were all shot in one take, which usually takes quite a few takes,” Dean explained to “Talking Bad” host Chris Hardwick. “They put three cameras – one of me to Bryan, one of me to the bad mother [Jack], and then one [just] me to myself and literally we did it in one take and Rian Johnson, the director said, ‘That’s how you die on TV.’ And it was like that was it.”

Dean said finishing his final scene prompted a mini-ceremony.
“We hugged and they give you a thing — they give you a picture that everyone signed — a blow up picture and [I] hopped in a van and [headed] back to the hotel and literally on the way back to the hotel I’m like, ‘Oh man,’ he explained.
“I was going to do another job — ‘Under The Dome’ — and I said, ‘Is there a plane left that goes to North Carolina?’” he continued, referring to where his monster CBS summer hit films. “They said, ‘As a matter of fact, there’s one last plane.’ I stopped by the hotel, grabbed my stuff and went straight to the airport.”
“I most definitely did not want to be there,” he added of why he decided to leave Albuquerque so quickly.

Dean’s impulse to take flight after filming his exit, instead of buckling down for a night of rest, or a party of some sort is the same thing another actor (who had another one of the saddest 2013 TV deaths), did when he finished filming his HBO show “Game of Thrones.”
Richard Madden, who played Robb Stark, also hopped a plane when his final, Red Wedding scene ended.
“It was really, really moving and not very nice and I left set and got straight to the airport and got on a plane because I didn’t want to be there anymore,” Richard said earlier this year. “It was very difficult.”

And for Richard, he found himself swept up in emotions of leaving behind a job he had been a part of for many years, behind.
“I cried the whole way,” the Scotsman previously said. “I was the crazy boy on the plane crying, at about about midnight, landing in London.”
Dean didn’t admit to tears, but he did appear to get a little choked up when he talked about having to say goodbye to the woman who played his wife for five seasons — Betsy Brandt.
“Saying goodbye to Besty was, you know, it was just tough,” Dean told Chris.
Betsy didn’t give away Hank’s early exit when she visited Access Hollywood Live earlier this month, but she did reveal that parting ways with Dean was a tearful experience.
“I was so sad, Dean Norris — I’ve loved working with Dean Norris, my lovely husband on the show and we cried,” she said.
“Breaking Bad” has just two episodes left. It continues on Sunday night at 9/8c on AMC.
