Breaking Bad’s Ozymandias Episode: How The Celebs Reacted On Twitter

“Breaking Bad” offered up one of its most intense episodes ever on Sunday night, throwing in major twists that prompted members of the cast, pop stars, TV actors and even an Oscar-winner to Tweet their reactions.

(SPOILER ALERT: This story contains plot details from Sunday night’s episode — “Ozymandias.”)

The first twist came in the show’s second act when “Breaking Bad” said goodbye to DEA Agent Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) who was shot by Uncle Jack (Michael Bowen) in the desert, shortly before Jack and his gang drove away with $70 million of Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) buried $80 million, and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).

Octavia Spencer (Oscar winner for “The Help”) took the moment hard.

“Hank !!!!!!! OH EM GEE #BreakingBad!” she Tweeted.

Jesse also got to hear one final betrayal from Walter before he was taken off to be tortured and possibly killed, when Walter admitted he watched — and did nothing — as Jesse’s girlfriend Jane (Krysten Ritter) died of a heroin overdose (back in Season 2).

After watching the episode, former “Breaking Bad” cast member Krysten Tweeted her reaction.

“This episode of breaking bad nearly gave me a heart attack. #dontend! #breakingbad #exhale,” she posted.

As the third and fourth acts rolled out, an unhinged Walter drove his remaining $10 million back home. As he tried to prepare his family to flee, he was confronted by an angry Flynn/Walt Jr. (RJ Mitte), who was upset over having just found out the truth about his dad.

There was an argument between Skyler (Anna Gunn) and Walt, she sliced his hand with a carving knife, the two tussled in the living room and Flynn/Walt Jr. called the cops.

Before they arrived, Walter swiftly exited the home with baby Holly, prompting an amber alert, and tiny tears from the infant who cried out for mommy — tears that got the teeny thespian noticed.

“Grimm’s” Sasha Roiz wrote, “Even the baby in #BreakingBad is sensational. #bestbabyemmy.”

“Watching it for the 2nd time….baby Holly deserves an emmy too #BreakingBad,” The Roots’ Questlove Tweeted.

“Jersey Shore’s” Vinny Guadagnino also noticed the toddler’s talent.

“Even the 1 year old is an amazing actor on this show #BreakingBad,” he Tweeted.

In an episode-concluding phone call, Walter called his wife some choice names, but he also seemed to release her (in front of a room full of listening-in authorities) from any connection to his operation. He then left their daughter safely inside of a fire engine, the little one producing big, salty tears on cue for a rescuing firefighter.
