Britney Spears Finds New ‘Circus’ Opening Act

Britney Spears is getting ready to bring her “Circus” back to North America – and she’s bringing a new opening act along for the ride.

Kristinia DeBarge and Ciara will open for the pop star when “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” heads to Canada and the U.S. beginning on August 20.

Ciara opened up for Britney during her stop in London, but it’s a new gig for DeBarge.

“Joining Britney Spears for her ‘Circus’ tour will be an amazing and surreal experience for me. I have been dreaming of an opportunity like this forever, and can’t wait,” DeBarge said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

DeBarge, 19, is the daughter of ‘80s pop star James DeBarge. Her single, “Goodbye,” peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this year.

“The Circus Starring Britney Spears” kicks off the North American leg on August 20 in Hamilton, Ontario.
