Britney Spears Shines In Surprise Las Vegas Performance

The princess of pop is back!

Britney Spears gave two surprise mini-concerts at Rain Nightclub in the Palms Casino Resort on Friday night, thrilling over a thousand lucky fans.

Rocking the stage in lingerie-inspired get-ups, Brit performed songs from her latest album, “Femme Fatale” including singles, “Hold It Against Me,” “Till the World Ends” and “Big Fat Bass.” The shows were filmed by MTV as part of an upcoming special on the pop superstar that will air next week in celebration of her album release.

“We are extremely excited to have one of the most iconic artists of all time back at the Palms. Britney’s performances were unbelievable and her fans will never forget this night,” Palms owner George Maloof told Access Hollywood in a statement on Friday. “We have a great relationship with MTV and feel fortunate to be a part of her upcoming special.”

“Jersey Shore’’s” DJ Pauly D, the exclusive Vegas resident DJ for the Palms, warmed up the crowd and kicked off the evening with his masterful beats and explosive sounds for club goers before Britney took the stage.

After the show – her first time back onstage since her 2009 Circus Tour – Britney took to Facebook to express her satisfaction with the evening’s festivities.

“OMFG it feels good to be on stage again!!” she wrote early Saturday morning, before posting photos from the performance.

“Femme Fatale” is Britney’s seventh studio album and will be released on March 29. She will appear in a pre-taped performance on “Good Morning America” the morning of her album release, and again that night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” as part of “Femme Fatale’s” launch.
