Britney Spears’ Smurfs 2 Song Ooh La La Will Be ‘Smurftastic’

“The Smurfs 2” already has Katy Perry lending her voice to the animated movie sequel and now Britney Spears will lends her vocal talents to the soundtrack.

The pop star will perform “Ooh La La,” which will play at the end credits of the film.

“I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic!,” Britney said in a statement on Wednesday.

She also confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, “Remember that surprise song I recorded for my boys? It’s coming soon! #OohLaLa for #TheSmurfs2 🙂 Stay tuned for more.”

The movie’s director, Raja Gosnell, is elated about to have Brit onboard.

“I am very excited that Britney is joining our Smurfy adventure. ‘Ooh La La’ is the perfect Smurf-party song, and the perfect button on the film for audiences around the world,” he said in a statement.
