Britney To Appear At Los Angeles Holiday Tree Lighting

Britney Spears has already ushered in the holiday season at Rockefeller Center’s Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, which aired Wednesday night on NBC, and now the pop star will bring her holiday cheer to Los Angeles, Access Hollywood has learned.

Britney will help launch the holiday season in downtown Los Angeles tonight at the city’s newest premiere sports and entertainment complex, L.A. Live. Britney will debut L.A. Live’s “Light of the Angels,” a production that uses over one million lights, holiday music, 11 massive video screens, and a towering digital steel tree sculpture.

The pop star will join Natalie Cole, who is scheduled to sing a holiday song, and television and radio personality Adam Carolla at the holiday celebration.

Britney has had a jam-packed week of performances, appearances, and celebrations. Her new album, “Circus,” dropped on Tuesday and is poised to land at the top of the music charts next week. The pop star also performed on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, followed by a star-studded birthday party in New York City with guests that included Lance Bass, Heidi Klum, Ciara, Jeremy Piven, Will.i.Am, and Russell Simmons.
