Brit’s Pal Tells OK!: Britney ‘Would Die’ For Her Boys

Britney Spears and her two sons appear in the current issue of OK! Magazine, in shots that were taken just days before she was taken away from her home and put in the hospital on an involuntary psychiatric hold.

Dani Brubaker, a photographer who got the first ever posed portrait shots of Britney and her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, told OK!, “[Britney] told me that she loved her children and that they are her life. She was very attentive to their needs. You can see a connection between parents and their kids, and you can get a feeling if a child is well-loved by the mother. That’s exactly what I experienced.”

In what are now chilling words, a close friend of Britney, echoed the photographer’s thoughts on the pop star’s commitment of love for her children.

“Britney has always said, ‘I would die for my boys if that’s what it took to prove I loved them. I’d do anything for them,'” the friends tells OK!.

Britney was so moved by the photographs that Brubaker shot, she reportedly “cried for over an hour and stared at them all night long.”

It appears Britney cannot conceive of a life without her children. The troubled pop star’s friend tells OK!, Britney is “inconsolable” as she slips further away from Jayden and Sean.

“Those boys are her everything, and she’s said repeatedly that life isn’t worth living if she can’t have her babies with her. The boys are what she’s living for. She wants those babies more than anything in the world. J.J. and Preston are what she’s wanted her whole life, and she has said nothing matters except being a good mother and having them,” the friend added.

Despite the constant media attention and the antics of their mother, Jayden James and Sean Preston appear to happy siblings.

“They were very much brothers” says Brubaker, who spent almost an hour with Britney and her sons. “They looked like they were really bonded together. They were playing with leaves and throwing them up in the air. They were fascinated by everything in the backyard. They were just being a happy family.”

Brubaker goes on to say that despite Britney’s recent problems, during the photo shoot, the pop star was “extremely sweet and kind.” Britney was so gracious, she even refer to Brubaker as “Ma’am.”

On the night of January 3, after a reported stand-off, Britney was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and held on an involuntary psychiatric hold. She was later visited by television’s Dr. Phil, before being released. She was spotted later that weekend, walking hand-in-hand with her paparazzi friend, Adnan Ghalib, in Palm Desert, California.

Most recently, Britney had a flat tire while driving through the Los Angeles community of Brentwood on Monday night. She abandoned her white Mercedes on the road and got a ride from a photographer, who she later invited into her home.
