Brooke Burke-Charvet’s Busy Mom Tips

In today’s Healthy Hollywood feature: Celebrity mom Brooke Burke-Charvet is really just like the rest of us multi-tasking parents. Except for the fact, perhaps, that her body looks more fit after four babies than most of us gals will ever look after sweating it out at the gym for endless hours.

Oh well, some gals just have all the luck!

And, as Healthy Hollywood can attest, Brooke not only has the good genes, but also has the sweetness factor that makes her super likeable with both women and men. Plus, at 42, Brooke admits she works hard to stay in shape. She does rigorous daily workouts and is committed to eating healthy. The former “Dancing with the Stars” host has even created her own fitness empire with DVDs and a workout line.

Brooke and her two kids, 6-year-old son, Shaya, and 7-year-old daughter, Rain, took part in the “Pretty Great Family Debate,” along with Embassy Suites Hotel, here in New York City to chat about making family summer vacation a happy and healthy time for all.

“I like to have a family meeting and figure out what’s important to the kids. I like to encourage everyone to go on some sort of adventure to discover some new things. Eating is really important to me, but you know we break the rules a little bit when we are on vacation,” reveals Brooke to Healthy Hollywood.

And, of course, this health-conscious celeb tries to make sure to get some fitness in on the road.

“We’re so active as a family with outdoor activities, whether we’re swimming or on a beach vacation or we’re just touring. Also, I think walking, healthy eating and staying busy with kids helps keeps off on extra vacation weight. I also try to sneak off for an hour and do a work out, but it doesn’t always happen on vacation. I work out really hard before we leave and then I make up for it when we get back home,” adds Brooke.
