WHO: Television personality, Brooke Burke, will join hundreds of women as they strap on their high heels and run for a good cause at the first ever Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash presented by The Palazzo Las Vegas.
WHEN: December 3, 2011 / Race begins at 5:00 PM
WHERE: The Palazzo Las Vegas / 3325 Las Vegas Blvd. South / Las Vegas, NV 89109
WHAT: The 50-yard Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash will begin at the luxurious grand lobby of The Palazzo and finish in the casino near Laguna Champagne Bar. Several hundred participants are expected, decked out in fabulous outfits to complement their heels, competing in multiple heats for a $5,000 first-place purse, a gift certificate to Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Palazzo, and other exciting prizes. The event will benefit two charities: Opportunity Village and Operation Smile. Each participant will receive an exclusive gift bag and invited to attend a post-dash party.
MORE: Opportunity Village is a local Las Vegas-based not-for-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities, and Operation Smile is a nonprofit that treats facial deformities such as cleft lips and palates worldwide. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash will kick off the largest nighttime running event in the world, the Zappos.com Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & 1/2 Marathon to benefit the Chron’s & Colitis Foundation, taking place on Sunday, December 4th.
