Bruce Jenner Reflects On His Olympic Village Partying: I Was ‘Prudish’

Sandwiched between his predominantly female famous family, Bruce Jenner – who won the decathlon gold medal at the 1976 Olympic Games – doesn’t have much of a chance to talk sports at home.

Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush caught up with Bruce at the London Games on Friday, where the reality TV patriarch was happy to revel in his Olympic heyday.

“I was a stud! Let me tell you, I was doing it!” Bruce told Billy, while watching an Internet video of his legendary 1976 race. “Just kicking butt all day long, taking no prisoners.”

Despite his “stud” status, Bruce — who was in London covering the games for E! News this time around — denied partaking in the storied Olympic Village debauchery.

“I didn’t do any of that stuff — I’m prudish! I’ve never been much into fooling around the world,” he said. “I wasn’t quite a virgin, but I was reserved, or choosey – [I’ll] put it that way.”

Bruce has been away from his LA-based family for nearly three weeks while at the games and joked he was surprised to learn they’d noticed his absence.

“Actually, I talked to [stepdaughter] Kim [Kardashian] yesterday, and Kim said ‘God, I haven’t talked to you or seen you in so long! I actually miss you,’” he told Billy with a laugh. “So, I think that’s a compliment!”

Team USA decathletes Ashton Eaton and Trey Hardee (who earned the gold and silver medals, respectively, at the London Olympics this week), also weighed in on Bruce’s family life.

“Thankfully, I know [Bruce] as the decathlete. I know him as the athlete, the world record holder, the Olympic champion,” Trey told Access Hollywood correspondent Michelle Beadle in London on Friday. “I know him as that Bruce Jenner. I don’t know him as the guy on the Kardashians’ [show].”

Trey and Ashton said Bruce is all about sports when he’s around the medaled pair, while his Hollywood persona takes a backseat.

“He’s one of the dudes. He’s an old decathlete,” Trey said. “All we do is talk numbers and technique and all that.”

“It’s all like, pent up inside, and he’s just lettin’ it out,” Ashton added, of Bruce’s willingness to talk sports with the guys. “It’s like he’s got a lot to say.”

“He’s trapped in an estrogen prison and he needs to talk about decathlon to us,” Trey joked, referencing Bruce’s famous family, which includes three Kardashian step-daughters and two additional daughters with wife Kris Jenner.
