Bruce Willis Sued Over His Rug

Bruce Willis has been reportedly slapped with a $27,700 lawsuit over a rug.

According to TMZ, Mansour, an LA based rug store has recently filed suit against the actor in L.A. County Superior Court for allegedly returning a $27,700 rug, which they claim has been damaged by “spilled or dripped red wine.”

Bruce’s rug saga reportedly began in December, when the company delivered a wool and silk rug to the actor’s home, which his decorator has selected.

The actor then reportedly had the rug altered, but then decided he wanted to return it.

According to the suit, the actor claims he didn’t spill the wine on the pricy rug, but the rug company claims the stain was not present when the item was delivered.

Now, Mansour is asking that the “Die Hard” star pay up for the rug.

The actor’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told TMZ, that Bruce never purchased the rug and that it was sent to his home on consignment. Bruce’s lawyer went on to claim that the rug was not dirty or damaged, but that he still offered to have it cleaned.

Singer added that he thought the rug lawsuit was “ridiculous.”
