Bruno Mars and James Corden made some "24K Magic" together on the latest installment of Carpool Karaoke.
The music superstar joined the "Late Late Show" host for a ride through Los Angeles that aired Tuesday night, as the pair belted out Bruno's hits like "Grenade," "Locked Out of Heaven," "Uptown Funk" and more.
In addition to their enthusiastic vocal collaborations, the duo also discussed Bruno's bold fashion choices – which James was convinced he could never pull off himself.
"I have no chance. No chance. If I wore that, I'd look like I was having a breakdown," James commented, gesturing at Bruno's colorful ensemble.
To prove his point, James then presented Bruno with a variety of flamboyant hats to try on, including a wide-brimmed turquoise one and Slash-esque top hat.
"I feel like there isn't a hat you can't wear," James remarked, before Bruno revealed a humbling style secret.
"It's because of this hair," Bruno admitted, referencing his signature curly mane. "I don't know what to do with it."
James eventually donned a similar silk Hawaiian shirt, gold jewelry and white baseball cap as Bruno for their final number, a rendition of the singer's "Perm."
However, he'd already put their friendship to the test with a joking admission.
"I'd catch a grenade for you," James said earlier in the segment, referencing his Grammy-winning passenger's own lyrics. "If the pin was in it, I'd catch it. But if you'd taken the pin out of it I'd run."
Bruno didn't appear amused – at least at first.
"That's f***ed up," he replied, before cracking a smile.
