Caitlyn Jenner Thanks ‘Fierce & Fabulous’ Laverne Cox

It appears Caitlyn Jenner and Laverne Cox are becoming fast friends.

Caitlyn spoke out on Wednesday night, thanking the “Orange Is The New Black” star for her support.

“.@LaverneCox, you are fierce and fabulous! Your support means the world. Thank you for all that you do for the community. #TransIsBeautiful,” Caitlyn wrote on Twitter on Wednesday night.

In return, Laverne responded to the recent Vanity Fair cover girl.

“My pleasure. Sending you lots of love always,” the “OITNB” beauty wrote, adding the #TransIsBeautiful hashtag.

It’s not the first time the actress has offered a message of support for Caitlyn.

Earlier this month, she took to her Tumblr page to pen a lengthy post following Caitlyn’s reveal.

“I am so moved by all the love and support Caitlyn is receiving,” Laverne wrote. “It feels like a new day, indeed, when a trans person can present her authentic self to the world for the first time and be celebrated for it so universally.”

“Caitlyn looks amazing and is beautiful but what I think is most beautiful about her is her heart and soul,” she added. “The ways she has allowed the world into her vulnerabilities. The love and devotion she has for her family and that they have for her. Her courage to move past denial into her truth so publicly. These things are beyond beautiful to me.”

While Caitlyn made headlines for her stunning Vanity Fair reveal in early June, Laverne urged people to talk about more than just Caitylin’s looks.

“For me, this isn’t just about trans women. This is about being a woman. We are evaluated by the way we look constantly,” Laverne recentlyy told Entertainment Weekly.
