Cameron Diaz is engaged and reportedly about to become Nicole Richie’s sister-in-law!
According to Us Weekly, the 42-year-old actress and The Madden Brothers rocker Benji Madden are on their way to getting married.

“Everyone thinks it’s wild, but [we] are so happy for them,” a source told the mag. “Benji always tends to fall in love easily, but this time it’s for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy and there’s nothing better than that.”

The couple began their romance just seven months ago, when the actress stepped out with the rocker, 35, in May. Benji’s twin brother and fellow bandmate Joel is married to Nicole, who the newly engaged couple has to thank for helping to play cupid.
“I approve of anything that’s going to make Benji happy,” Nicole said of her brother-in-law’s budding relationship with the actress on “Watch What Happens Live” in July.
When asked if she set up the pair, Nicole told host Andy Cohen, “Yes… I’m going to take responsibility for everything!”

And Cameron’s mom, Billie Early, is a big fan of Benji.
“Billie has been gushing about Cameron’s new relationship,” a source previously told the mag. “She absolutely loves Benji and she hopes this is the man her daughter will finally settle down with.”
