Carly Jae Jepsen Is ‘Pretty Pumped’ About New Single With Owl City

Carly Rae Jepsen’s catchy breakout single “Call Me Maybe” has been riding high at the top of the pop charts for weeks, and now, her second single has been released – a collaboration that has Canadian singer excited about the future.

“I did a track with Owl City called ‘Good Time,’” the 26-year-old told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson at the “Katy Perry: Part of Me” premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday. “I’m pretty pumped about that one, actually.”

In addition to the success of her popular hit, Carly Rae (who was handpicked by Justin Bieber as the first artist on his Schoolboy Records label) recently hit the stage with her 18-year-old superstar mentor in Mexico.

“I’m really thrilled… I got a little taste of it last week,” she said. “We were in Mexico City in front of like, 300,000 people and I went out just to sing ‘Call Me Maybe’ and I was pretty blown away!

“It was an intense, intense feeling to see that many people and have them like, sing the song,” she added. “It was really cool.”
