Carriage Conundrum: Will Kate Be Forced To Change Her Royal Wedding Arrival Vehicle?

There are just 114 days until Prince William of England and Kate Middleton become husband and wife and the wedding is continuing to take shape, with some interesting new nuptial details emerging.

According to Royal Expert Neal Sean, Kate is expected to arrive to her wedding at Westminster Abbey in a car – not an ornate carriage like the one Princess Diana turned up in on her big day back in 1981.

Neal said that detail might have to change as the public will expect to be able to see the newest royal on the way to her big day.

“I think people over here are going to demand [she not arrive in a car],” Neal told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Wednesday.

Another new detail – the couple will only get to invite “30 guests between them,” Neal revealed.

The bulk of the wedding guests will be chosen by the higher-ranking dignitaries.

Likely to make it on the couple’s list will be The Beckhams as David and William are friends due to their work with various charities and also trying (and failing) to bring the World Cup to England.

Neal said less likely to make the cut are singers Elton John and George Michael.

As for the wedding dinner, William’s father, Prince Charles, is helping out.

“Prince Charles… at the royal wedding banquet, he’s going to be providing not just some, but most of the food from his Duchy of Cornwall range [of food products], including green beans, potatoes and the salad,” Neal said.

When it comes to the dancing at the ball following their “I do’s,” at least one song expected to be played is The Bodyrocker’s “I Like The Way You Move,” which Neal said is a song the couple have a special fondness for.
