Underwood is one multi-tasking mama!
The country
superstar had more than just her hands full while prepping for a concert on
Wednesday night, as 1-year-old son Isaiah decided it was also time to jump in
her lap while she perfected her hair and makeup.
“He doesn’t care that Mommy had to get ready for a show…all he
knows is that he woke up cranky from his nap and needed a cuddle,” Carrie
wrote on Instagram, captioning a black-and-white shot of her little one burying
his head in her chest as she sat in front of a vanity mirror.

Carrie made sure to tell her nearly 5 million followers that she didn’t mind the interruption though, saying it’s all part of the double duty she takes on as a working mom.
“I was more than happy to comply,” she added, including the hashtags “#momlife” and “#roadlife” to her post.

While he may not offer much assistance when it comes to her beauty routine, Carrie has said Isaiah is a factor when it comes to the motivation behind her enviable figure.
Last week, the 33-year-old showed off her sculpted shoulders in a throwback Instagram photo of herself lifting a 20-pound kettlebell at the gym.
“I’ve been working on my arms a lot more this year…loving the progress!” she captioned. “I figure my son is only going to get bigger and I want to be able to pick him up and haul him around for as long as I can!!!”
Carrie may soon be able to devote more one-on-one time with Isaiah. Her “Storyteller” tour wraps on Nov. 28 in Utah.
