Carrie Underwood: My Husband Has A ‘Bromance’ With Blake Shelton

Move over Adam Levine – it looks like Blake Shelton might have a new blossoming bromance in his life.

In a new interview with Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez, Carrie Underwood said her husband – NHL player Mike Fisher – recently hit it off with country pal Miranda Lambert’s husband, Blake.

As it turns out, Blake and Mike’s friendship took shape while their superstar country wives were hard at work.

“During the ACMs, we actually hung out quite a bit because we were there for a few days and our husbands got to talk,” Carrie told Liz, as they discussed her new duet with Miranda, “Somethin’ Bad,” off of Miranda’s album, “Platinum.”

“I think there’s a bit of a bromance going on,” Carrie laughed. “[Blake’s] got a lot of bromances going on. I won’t talk to Mike about it – I don’t want to make him jealous!”

Jokes aside, Carrie admitted it was nice to have good friends who understand life in the spotlight.

“It’s nice to have people that… understand your life,” Carrie explained. “I have so many friends that have really nothing to do with the music business, it’s nice to be able to hang out with some people that get it all.”

As for her duet on Miranda’s album, Carrie said she had a blast singing with the country spitfire.

“I feel like the song is a really good blend of both of our styles and we both got to do what we do, you know, in the studio. It was a lot of fun being in the studio with her,” she added.
